Dara has honed his architectural expertise over two decades, delivering exceptional projects and driving design excellence. A graduate of the Bartlett School of Architecture in London, Dara’s work earned him First Class Honours and a nomination for the prestigious RIBA Presidents Medals.
Throughout his 22-year tenure at Foster + Partners, Dara led a diverse range of projects across the globe, from intimate private homes to ambitious city master plans. In 2015 he established Foster + Partners’ first regional office in Dubai, where he cultivated a dynamic design studio and led numerous high-profile projects in the region, including the House of Wisdom, Index Tower, and The Palm Flower. Founded by Dara in 2022, DesignTomorrow exemplifies his unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of design and imagination.
Dara is also an active contributor to the broader design community. He has served as Vice Chair of the RIBA Gulf Chapter and as a member of the Advisory Board for the School of Architecture at the American University of Dubai, as well the Centre for Research, Innovation, and Development. He is also a guest speaker and lecturer at conferences and universities across the region and has lent his expertise as a guest critic at the American University of Sharjah School of Architecture.
Dara is a registered architect in the UK, a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), and a member of the UAE Society of Engineers.
